I’ve been a client for almost two years and not once have I seen this facility dirty they do a good job at maintaining this place. I recently needed their help with breaking my lock since do to me loosing my keys. I was a bit hesitant since now they have a kiosk and I don’t see personnel anymore. But to my surprise Robert was very helpfully with assisting from the kiosk and was able to have someone come and help me the next day. I met with Alex the next day the person that was here to help me with the lock she was very helpful professional and friendly it completely changed my expectations in a positive way thank you you have a loyal costumer now.

Edit came I have been renting storage here since November 2017 and I love here. It's clean and neat. Easy to access. Storage has 24 hours entrance option. They have loading duck for truck which is perfect. They have pallet Jacks and bunch of carts. It's easy to move everything. Secure and camera everywhere. And last thing I really need to say this. Robert and Maxine. They are doing everything here. They are nice and cool. They are helping you perfectly and they are not doing just business. When you are here you can feel they are really friendly. I would definitely recommend here. Thank you guys. They are more than storage guys. I was here to open a new unit. After 9 years, my business of selling, marketing and collecting Transformers toys with my website Seibertron.com finally outgrew the 10x30 unit I had at Safeguard Self Storage in Des Plaines, IL (and outgrew my basement too!). Over the years, many Safeguard employees helped me out or took the time to have friendly conversations. Some of the kind folks that worked there over my years that stood out were Brian, Jason, Maxine, Vern, Kristen, Gil and Robert. They always greeted me with a smile and a friendly attitude. With my almost daily visits to Safeguard, I felt like the employees there were more like co-workers with my small business. In addition, the facility itself was always well maintained and clean. I also received excellent customer service over the years. Over the past few years, Robert Klein really went beyond the call of duty. He does an outstanding job there managing the Des Plaines facility. What set Robert apart were our almost daily conversations about our families, work, lives, the Pandemic, buying a house, moving my business, his Karaoke side-business, and so on. We became friends over the past few years and I'll miss our conversations. Of special note was that Robert helped solve a problem I was having coordinating weekly COD deliveries from UPS by suggesting I re-route my packages to Safeguard instead of my house so that they could give UPS my COD and accept the package for me (a service Safeguard offers that was included with rent).
