****UPDATE——After having the ‘issues’ I described below, I received a call from the district manager. She was super apologetic and empathetic, and also advised that they were aware of the issue, but the signs that they’d ordered were delayed in processing. Well, I’m happy to say that Kourtney reached out to me to advise me that the signs came in and were installed so at this point since that was my biggest “issue“ (navigating the map and locating my unit) -they have been bumped to 5⭐️! -ORIGINAL-Jessica (5⭐️)was wonderful, and I was initially very impressed with how easy the rental process was. I started with a 5x5 unit but quickly realized I needed more space, so I upgraded to a 5x10. That change was handled smoothly, partly in person and partly via email. However, when I returned the next day to access my new unit, I ran into several issues. Although I received the updated unit number and lock code, I was not given a new access code for the building door. Naturally, I assumed the original code would still work, but it didn’t. Thankfully, that was resolved with a quick phone call. Unfortunately, the confusion didn’t end there After loading up two carts with heavy items from my SUV, I entered the wrong door and had to drag everything to another entrance—only to find that was incorrect as well. After multiple calls and texts, I was finally informed that my unit was located in a separate building behind the main one. As a new tenant, there was no indication that this additional building even existed. Once I finally found the correct location-with Kortneys help- I was able to unload my items and leave, but what should have taken 10 minutes ended up taking about an hour. (reason for the original 3⭐️). I did share my concerns with the staff on-site, and I’m hopeful they’ll pass this along to management. Better signage or clearer communication—especially regarding the newer back building—would make a big difference for new customers.
